The Down Syndrome Association of the Philippines, Inc is a non-profit organization that relies solely on donations from corporations, individuals, and institutions.  As a foundation, donations to DSAPI are tax deductible.

Many consider DSAPI as a good organization to donate to because most of the donations are used for funding projects and most of the work is done on a voluntary basis, and only a limited full-time staff is maintained by the DSAPI.  There are many activities carried out on a regular basis such as Early Intervention Seminars for new parents, Awareness Seminars, Free Medical Clinics, The Happy Walk, Photo Exhibits, Christmas Party for the membership, various seminars and activities of special interest for persons with DS.  Funding also goes to publication of a Primer on DS, The DS Baby Book, Down Syndrome… Biyaya ng Buhay, information kits, information posters for hospitals, and other printed materials.
